Yes, Im still adding the other stuff thats been approved, now that Ive collected most of it from the old forum (missing the Havoc).
What I have in mind is a sort of TRO: BTM. I want to do a mass approval of your designs, but I will be accepting only the most polished items.
What Id like to see:
Manufacturing info
Overviews, Capabilities, etc
Logical needs fulfilled
What I dont need so much of:
Upgrade variants to existing stuff
FS stuff with RAC/5
So, there are not many rules as such, but this will last for about a month or so (mid Jan) when I go through and pick em all.
If you want your design looked at as part of this, add TRO: in the title. You can edit old (not that there are too many of those now) postings.
Also, I didnt look at a lot of stuff that was on the old forums, so if you have old ideas still kicking around your hard drive, bring em out.

Havoc Attack VTOL.
Mass: 30 tons.
Movement Type: VTOL.
Power plant: Robinson 160 Special Extra light.
Cruising Speed: 108 kph.
Maximum Speed: 162 kph.
Armor: Krupp Draco-100 Ferro-Fibrous.
Armament.
11.0 tons of Pod Space.
Manufacturer: Krupp Armament Works.
Primary Factory: Bochum, Terra.
Communications System: Marshall Long-Talk with C3i Computer.
Targeting and Tracking System: GPT Multi-Track.
Overview.
In late 3079 the Cormorant Omni-VTOL was discovered to have fallen short of expectations
and a competition was announced to replace it. Having a long standing tradition of supplying
Pinto Attack Helicopters to the Com Guard, Krupp Armament Works on Terra tossed their hat
into the ring with the Havoc Attack VTOL.
Capabilities.
The Havoc is designed as a multi-role reconfigurable attack helicopter capable of meeting or
even surpassing most other VTOLs on the market. The designers at Krupp spared no expense
in giving it the most advanced technologies available as evidenced by the Robinson 160 Extra
light Fusion power plant that propels the 30 ton helicopter at speeds in excess of 160 kph.
Despite being nimble, the Havoc is protected by four and a half tons of the same Ferro-Fibrous
armor plating that protects the venerable Pinto allowing it to take even more punishment than
the toughest attack VTOLs on the market. The armored airframe is designed to make it more
aerodynamic and reduce drag almost devoid of sharp edges and edges which meet at an abrupt
angle are curved and flared together not only making it appear sleek and menacing but making
it nearly silent in the air.
Due to this aerodynamic design choice, it was decided that the Havoc would carry most if not all
of its configurable weapons and stores internally not only to preserve the effect but also to protect
them with the VTOLs armor. Retractable doors open, allowing for firing of missiles and other
weapons as needed. This also has the effect of preventing enemy warbook programs and observers
from knowing what configuration is being mounted. Some items such as Target Acquisition Gear
actually are mounted above the Havoc’s Rotor blades on a mast mount while a targeting computer
is linked directly into the targeting and tracking system.
To save development time the designers at Krupp decided to import the GPT Multi-Track targeting
system as used on the Pinto in addition to the Marshall Long-Talk communications system. In a
unique stroke of originality, it was decided to add a C3i computer system into the mix allowing for
up to six other Havoc attack helicopters to enjoy an increased level of data sharing.
Borrowing a page from the Pinto, the Havoc’s rotors dismantle in less than five minutes allowing
it to be stored in either conventional vehicle or aerospace bays for easy transport. Additionally,
a 5-bladed rotor allows for a “whisper effect” preventing the chopper from being heard until it is
within a hundred meters of anyone on the ground.
The Primary “Warrior” Configuration of the Havoc boasts a pair of deadly extended-range
medium lasers linked to an advanced targeting computer and backed up by a pair of MML 5
launchers. The MML launchers may switch between short and long range missiles due to
being fed by a pair of one ton ammunition pods.
The A or “Scout” Configuration is designed primarily for Reconnaissance duties. Boasting a
pair of MML 3 launchers backed up by three tons of ammunition as its primary means of
attack, it is packed with state of the art electronics including both the Bloodhound Active
Probe and the Angel Electronic Countermeasures Suite. Target Acquisition Gear allows for
the targeting of precision munitions upon enemy targets.
The B Configuration is known as the “Sniper” and for good reason. Boasting a Particle Projection
Cannon linked to a targeting computer and protected by the advanced Angel ECM, it is designed
to strike at an enemy and maintain its distance against its target.
The C Configuration or “Hunter” as the designers at Krupp have dubbed it, is unusual in that it
was designed to track down and kill unarmored insurgents. Making use of a Light 50mm
Autocannon, four tons of ammunition (fletchette is the reccomended load altho almost any
can be used), and a Bloodhound Active Probe mean that the Hunter can track its quarry
and kill them from a distance.
Deployment.
The Havoc is Krupp’s entry into the Omni-VTOL contest. If accepted, it will be a major victory
for a firm with firm ties to both the Com Guard and SLDF.

Stupid question. I see that most other designers have done exactly that already. I'll do that as well.

On a (slightly) more serious note, was just curious on what we might expect since there was A LOT of designs submitted. And it REALLY doesn't relate to the fact that the Black Stars are currently passing by Terra and would be one of the first to be able to lay our grubby hands on the latest available hardware...
