I suggest naming and fluffing this 'Hover Tank', which after searching and asking others doesn't appear to be a canon unit. The Broker said the question had been raised about a year ago, before the forum crash, and it was not removed from the purchase list because one or more units already had it in their possession. The only reference to it other than the BTM purchase list is a HeavyMetal Vee file that is included with the program by default, but I don't know where the programmers got it from.

According to the notes:

Quote

Source: BattleTech Record Sheets Volume Five Vehicles, FASA # 1667

Entered by Rick Raisley. No fluff exists, to my knowledge.

Design is 6 tons overweight, due to change in rules for hovercraft engines. Therefore, I added a -6 ton correction, so that record sheet could be printed as per the book.

I guess you could give it any number of fun names. It's representative of any number of generic little hover tanks which don't have quite the same performance or specs as your better known vehicles. Atleast that would be my thought?

Idk, it's pretty rock solid. It's basically a hover Myrmidon, 6/9 with PPC and SRM-6
